Do you just scald them and then peel?

Yep, when I scald the feet I have the water about 175* +/- a few degrees, they only need a short time. Some of the toenails will pop off really easy just by pinching them and pulling but I got a pair of pliers I keep for them....makes it quick and simple. You are only pulling off the nail covers (sheaths).

It died.
They are interesting looking birds with distinct personalities. They are good moms (even hatchery stock) and can be demanding if they want treats. So, they are demanding!
