Hey guys, candled my turkey eggs tonight. All five seem to be developing, but one has a problem.

It has an air cell on the side of the egg. Is there any hope with an assisted hatch?

There is always hope!

Hi everyone. I am looking for Ruen or Cayuga Ducks in the Erie area. Does anyone have any around here?

:frow I don't.

Can any of you guys help me with two chicks? This feather footed one

Morning! Have to read posts but I hope everyone is good! Finally have a day off, hubby is home, and no one else got sick. Shipped samples to Penn state yesterday so we'll see what happens. Little guy that survived is doing well and they are reshipping order today so he'll have freinds soon. Instead of boy packing peanuts I ordered 2 pullets of barred rock, australorp, dark and white/red Cornish and saipian jungle fowl hens? Whatever those are lol. Also got a jumbo Peking girl I named Rose after my grandma

I think Mercury wants her to be his girlfriend, he has a thing for Pekings lol. And I found some more EEs and the lady has beautiful colors so that should make my daughter happy. All in all definitely a better week so far!

Let me know what you think of the red/white Cornish... I had ordered two last year from another hatchery and they were both really small and weak and ended up dying in the first week. The hatchery noted that this breed had smaller chicks and so I'm wondering if it is a breed thing (they are pretty rare, yes?) or just that this particular hatchery didn't have a strong breeding flock.

They'll be here Thursday! Should get two females I'll definitely let you know how it goes. Hoping I can tell the difference between the 5 breeds.
