There's nothing more frustrating than having the itch to throw together a new pen, having pretty much all the materials, getting bundled up and going out to get to work...and the drill dies I may have to go buy myself a new drill lol.

If you can manage it, Lowe's has a bunch of the Dewalt cordless drills on sale right now. I am hoping to pick one up soon, but we are having oil and propane delivered today. Today is going to be expensive... So thankful we can afford heat though!

Well after a horrible hatch (shipped eggs), I am finally getting enough eggs to set some of my own! I am going to set 16 (+ whatever I get today and tomorrow) Ameraucana eggs. I have the Lav Cuckoo roo in my profile pic over two lav hens, a blue split to lav (don’t usually have her in the pen) and a black hen.

Was wondering if anyone local (Pottstown or surrounding areas) had any eggs available to set this week along with mine? Mainly looking for Black or Lav Amers, or any color Marans, but may consider others.

My daughter’s beeen asking me to hatch eggs at schoool for years. Thanks to DHetzel and MsLadyHawk, we got some eggs and the Science teacher put up a live feed to the chicks. There’s one out all ready!

Yuck! Oil and propane on the same day! That is an expensive day. I plan to swing by Lowe's today and see what they've got. I don't like cordless though. I need to grab more scotch guard from Joann's too for my saddles lol
