Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I was outside, cleaning out the one shed, and trying to get the second prefab coop back together. Idk where the screws are. I got it about half together with too long screws. Then I ran out of screws, and one side seems warped. :D I am fed up now.
Bird is still alive.

Today has suddenly just become an awful day. Our last dog, Sparkles, just suddenly passed away at only 7 years old. She was perfectly fine the other day, playing with me and teasing me. She didn't do that stuff often but she was feeling good that night. Then last night she was throwing up here and there, mostly water. I just figured she'd drank too much or had a stomach ache. She's had all sorts of health issues all her life so an evening of feeling yucky wasn't completely unusual for her. She was practically blind and deaf, was allergic to pretty much everything, and had bad hips. Then today, she laid down on the floor for an afternoon nap like always and just never woke up. Just like that. I'm thankful that she seemed to go peacefully but we were not prepared for this. The kids are going to be crushed when they get home. Farewell Sparkles. We'll see you at the rainbow bridge.

Oh, no! I'm so sorry Jess....what a horribly hard thing to deal with. :hugs
I am glad she went peacefully though. Our old boy Tyson went like that. Was difficult to suddenly find him gone but I was glad he was warm and comfy at home instead of a vets office.

I have been around too long to simply ask what is wrong. However, I just don’t know what else to say. These are all of her symptoms, and the only other thing I can think of is that, depending on who you ask, they might be crowded. I think I can handle processing today.

Her poop looks like it has some worms in it, so maybe some goat wormer to remove parasites from the picture.
Check her keel bone, if it is very prominent she may be suffering malnurishment from either parasites (worms) or from a case of coccidosis that has overwhelmed her.
Scrambled eggs, finely chopped spinach, tuna or other similar healthy treats with some Nutridrench drops added to give her a boost while she heals.
It could certainly be an injury... if so then just keep her warm, quiet, semi dark and well fed for a few days to see if she starts moving on her own at all.

I am so sorry,

I like the "traditional" biscotii recipes...no butter, you can adapt the fruit and nuts to what ever you like, keeping them dried, or none at all..the cookie itself is very good with al the add-ins. That would be most traditional..no inclusions, but geesh man.
I also like to substitute some of the AP flour with fine-ground whole wheat flour. Adds a rel nice nutty flavor to the cookie.
I even cut the amount of sugar in half because I use raw-sugar, sooo much more flavor and not that sickening-sweet taste...hope that made sense.
I like to sprinkle the top with the raw before I bake it, makes a nice crunchy-sparkly topping:D
I need to buy some lemon biscotti from you for my mom. Would you consider it?

The quail is still alive. She propped herself upright in a corner. She has water and a scrambled egg (duck) and I gave Nutridrench.
Her crop was empty, but she feels fine as far as weight, injury and her keel bone.

I would go with a hidden injury then. You can use a rolled hand towel or small bath towel rolled and then laid in a ring to create a 'bolster nest' to give her a support to lean on. A few days of rest should give you a chance to get a better evaluation of her mobility so you can decide if you can nurse her or if she needs to be butchered.
