I'm not that hard to find . . .
The guy is coming Monday to get Welbar eggs.

How are those silkie chicks? You know, it only takes a few chicks to get hooked again on poultry. Your tried quitting "cold turkey" (pun intended), how did that work?

Kids are out now. Today was their first day of summer vacation. Tomorrow is Brendon's birthday. He'll be 14! Growing too fast! He and his friends went out with a bang and won first place in the talent show on Tuesday :) Saw your silkie babies on Facebook. I have a project going on now if you're interested in eggs.... Silkie feathered lavender ameraucanas x silkies. Fertility is good ;)

I boiled 37 quail eggs, and Duckling peeled most by herself. I think thirty made it to the jar. She likes quail eggs a lot.

Bah, I was hoping there was a once and done trick I could do to my fence vs the maintenance of keeping wings timmed, these two girls are SO hard to catch! How often do the wings need to be clipped?

Moved my broody mama's last night and suddenly think it's hilarious that of all of my coops the new mamas are going to get the one that is a little house .

Kids are home for the summer, yesterday was their last day and they were already picking sour cherries with aspirations of pie and feeding the chickies.

My new house has a 4ft fence all around the backyard. I'm thinking that I may need to clip chickens' wings too, or they will visit neighbors everyday. Maybe my neighbors will like to find some fresh eggs in their yards. :gig
