Wishing all of you and yours a Blessed Christmas!

For me, without a doubt, BEST Christmas ever!!! DD#2 has been extremely ill, TODAY she showed signs of improving to treatment!!! I have not cooked, cleaned, shopped or decorated, spending every minute at the hospital. Hubby wrapped and stuffed stockings for the very first time in our 25 year marriage (God Bless him!). Holding things together....barely. But Oh So very grateful to have a sign of improvement!!! God is Good.

Blarney, we didnt know! So sorry to hear of the family struggles with her health, please know our prayers are with you and even though you are across state if there is anything you need we will do all we can to help. I am thankful to hear that there have been encouraging signs and pray her progress continues!

:gig Steven is out. I was working on ten things at once outside, and left the one door open. As soon as he realized it, he jumped out. He stayed out, trying to get to the girls in the run. It is going to be warm enough, long enough. If he stays out, he will be "okay" until he wants pampered, and waits to be let inside.

Blarney ! I am so sorry to hear that!
If you need someone to talk to or email remember I am an RN, and would be happy if I could hel at all. I am so glad for your Chrismas miracle. I think of you every day when I am in the coo--I still have your enormous splash orp !

Today was a never ending day in the coop. I thought it would take fifteen minutes. :gig
Its safe to say that the SPR are not afraid of me. I was trying to get the door rehung, and they kept going in and out. They even got in my face while I was bent over.
The cage is folded up, and leaning against the wall. I dismissed the idea of them roosting on it. :D They showed me!

Steven went back in yesterday (whew! He’s not on the roof!), and is happily roosting here. He crowed in my ear a few times today. Whew, he’s loud!

Steven is a beautiful fellow! The SPRs look pretty comfy and relaxed. BTW....I almost always have 1 or 2 SPR hens who take begging to extremes. They will jump up and take stuff out of your hands and will knock bowls out of your hands if you aren't watching for them.
