Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Find out! Actually, some are divided into towns or cities rather than townships. All I know is that I have had multiple people tell me that they have moved from another state and they have never heard of townships before moving to Pennsylvania.

I’ve heard of townships, they’re in Michigan.

Take for example this code from Cresson Borough…can you have chickens, or not? If so, how many? (And this is all I could find on the subject):

Did you sell your silkies? I need to rehome at least some of my birds (maybe all of them, haven't quite decided) and am hoping to get good owners, of course. I have both chickens and ducks. Any advice appreciated! I live near Washington, PA.
Sorry I just now saw this! I did sell one season of Silkies for the first time this year but I don’t know if I want to do another round next year. I lost a few hens recently too so I’m keeping a few from the last batch. Just rehomed a duck to a great place. Have three gorgeous black banty Roos who need a good home. Just lost my favorite fat lady, a white Brahma, to a road accident. :(
Without Facebook it’s hard to connect in my area, try the local feed, mill or rural convenience store type deals, put up pictures, ask around. Hope this helps!

Free Hen, egg-layer. Needs a flock!

Hi Keystone state neighbors. I hadn't known a local thread existed but it was recommended
Hi BYC friends.
I had 3 hens. 1 died in extreme heat wave this summer. My beautiful Dominque was just murdered by something yesterday, found her dead by a torn fence.
I have 1 hen left, she's a red sex link. Lays 5-6 eggs/ week in season. She is all alone and needs a flock. I will deliver her to a good home in SE PA or NJ. I cannot stomach losing her this harshly. Please anyone interested?
She originally came from cackle hatchery may 2023. GOLDIE IS A SWEET GIRL. SO FRIENDLY
