Hi! I'm in Southeastern PA - Montgomery County just outside of Philly. My husband and I are planning to get RIRs in the spring, so we're in the R&D stage of chicken-ry.

No chickens here yet (we've determined that no matter how we look at it, a tenth of an acre is just not enough land for a chicken + the neighbor wouldn't really approve - he likes conformity; le sigh!) but we're saving up for some land where we don't have to worry about the neighbors so much, and in the meantime I'm open to learning, volunteering to help other folks, etc!

and more! If I would have known how much fun they were I would have gotten them years ago. For instance, about two weeks ago my rooster actually started to crow. Tonight the girls are beginning to actually cluck instead of peep. It's like watching your children grow up and enjoying all the milestones.
