LOL gotta love an honest girl!!!I enjoy animal time more than people time most days .. although meeting chad and tina was not a bad experience
Sure thing!!! great and thanks!!!Can I just say that reading this thread makes me smile! Puppy makes 3 dogs here and we have not even told our families, as we know it will mean loads of critisim and 'just WHAT were you thinking!?, haven't you got enough to handle?'. Nice to hear all the support here.
Sally, thanks for the Facebook link! Also, there is a BYCer that breeds Cream Legbars in Mount Airy, MD. Her screen name is Madamwlf. Hope that helps.
I do not plan on keeping the lemon cuckoo's, not a breed that I want to work with, these 2 are up for grabs but must go as a pair......as far as roo's go, I offer to take anyone's roo's with the understanding that most go into the growout pen for meat birds. (meat birds in there now will be all processed in the next week, so the pen will be empty and ready to stock with unwanted roo's)Is anyone in the area raising Swedish Flower Hens? I hatched a few and ended up with almost all roos, I think. I'd be happy to donate a few to anyone that needs/ wants some. I'll try hatching again in the spring and hope for hens! I hate to butcher a rarer breed if I don't have to. As out stands I have one hen and for roos with one too young to tell!
I'm in the Mount Joy area.
Wellstone - if you want one (or two) lemon cuckoo prop roos, shoot me a pm. You're close, so I can drop them off when our schedules permit. I work shift work and never know my schedule more than a couple days in advance.
(I don't like working by phone, darn spell correct!)
I could come get soe more if ya wanted got room still ... and now i know how to get there ...I do not plan on keeping the lemon cuckoo's, not a breed that I want to work with, these 2 are up for grabs but must go as a pair......as far as roo's go, I offer to take anyone's roo's with the understanding that most go into the growout pen for meat birds. If anyone is interested in the banties that are left, I am scheduled to work 3rd shift next week, so my days are open to anyone that wants to come look at them.
