Introducing Winston!!

I was telling someone I know at the feed store about my wonderful rooster getting killed by a raccoon. He made told me about someone he knew who might have an "Extra" Welsummer rooster so I called and sure enough, this other guy did. So he met me down at the feed store tonight and gave me Winston. (Loren and I named him

) Winston is only on loan for now, but if I get some babies hatched out from Wellington's last batch of fertile eggs, I will be very grateful. So, I am back in business and good to go for selling eggs again.

(As long as I keep the raccoon out that is.

) I have re-enforced the coop, so I think I am good to go there.

Winston has a nice full tail and is a little more orange then Wellington was. Wellington was a nice black red color.
Winston is 6 months old. Wellington was 8 months old.
Winston has an odd crow and I can tell his apart from all the other roos around here.
