People Do Want Cockerels As Pets !

i have pens for the boys, with no hens and they do fine- here are 2 silkie boys that have been forever run buddies- i don't have them penned near hens though, and the are 'sight challenged'

im in 4-h and o i am buying a cockrel from you haha i love roosters and cockrels except one i have but i wood never kill a cockrel or rooster that is in my flock (except a broiler)

Broilers are those Cornish x Rock chickens, right ? The ones you're supposed to kill at 8 weeks old. They were our first little yellow chickies and when they died, be buried them in the ground. Our oldest one grew to be about 6 months old. My neighbor said that if you don't kill them at 8 weeks old, they are too tough or have too much fat in them. I remember I would have to carry them and put them up in their house every night. They wouldn't go up the ramp but all of them were out of the house in the mornings !

We'll take more pics for you and get the dimensions of the cockerel you are interested in tomorrow. (also wrote PM you about shipping estimates)

I like the pics posted. Those are some good looking roosters ! I've never seen non-bearded Silkies before ! And my son was trying to ID all your roosters Illia (what kind are they ?)
