People panic buying chickens

I do not know, I do not have a license to trade. It is cheap, but I'm too lazy to go and get it. Therefore, I do not sell anything.
Neighbors in the village sometimes pester me with requests to sell goats, milk, eggs or something else, but I always refuse and send petitioners to a regular grocery store, explaining to them that I am not a farmer and will not sell anything.

I am not a lawyer and do not know the laws too well, but as I understand it, (here in Rusia) if I keep animals for myself, then they are not taxed, if they are rarely sold, they are also not taxed, and if I become a farmer and start to actively trade, then I need to buy a certain license (it is inexpensive, but i have to go for it), go to the doctors and get myself a medical book, and the products themselves must undergo a veterinary check. I am too lazy to do all this, so I just do not trade and keep animals exclusively for myself.

I bought chickens now simply because I've always wanted them and finally had the time to build a coop, run, and have time to raise the babies. Maybe others are doing the same?

That’s why I did as well. I’ve wanted them for years but didn’t feel I had the time to devote to keeping them safe and happy. So mine won’t be for sale or give-a-way. But I won’t be surprised if there will be by others

It’s easier for me not to bother with this, but just milk milk, make cream, butter, as well as ice cream and eat it all myself.
