People that use their food dehydrators please read.

Another thing might be the silicone tray that sits on a cookie sheet or cover cookie sheet with parchment paper and use either in your oven on low heat. Both should be heat tolerant at what would be used to make fruit leather or roll-ups.
 
If I were you I would try the oven method to tide you and your waiting apples over. I am not the biggest fan of the dehydrator circles. I find that my fruit leather always sticks like glue to the sides. I try to stay even, but can't be perfect...
