When I first heard those sounds..I freaked out...

I'm stuck. I can't climb up the sides of the 'cave' (more like a drop-off; smooth sided.), and so I muted my audio because the sounds were way too scary for me. LOL

I can never really figure out what the cave sounds mean, does it mean that you are near monsters or just in danger?

The cave sounds only mean that a dark enclosed area is nearby. They don't mean there are monsters , they're just there to scare your socks off.

for me on my laptop the cave noises normally tell me how deep i am. If it is a deep pitched one i am extreamly deep. it also means there is a cave around somewhere if you here it on the surface

It means you're in/near an enclosed area with a light level below 8 (found that out after freaking out and searching it. LOL)
