I am surprisingly content with my 15 FPS. The only time I dislike it is when I do the minecart-TNT thing. Then it lags like crazy.

Yeah, 15 really isn't that bad. It's not like human eyes can even really notice the individual frames at that speed. Maybe you notice a little more smoothness at 30 or 60, but it's not going to be a life-changing difference for most people.

I've been doing some experimenting with hoppers this weekend. I built a self-harvesting farm like I've done several times before. At the dump area where I usually collect the produce I put a hopper that feeds a furnace, which feeds a second hopper into a chest. The furnace is also self-feeding by a second hopper that gets coal from a chest on top of it.

So I now have a system that will harvest and bake 416 plants worth of potatoes with the flick of a single switch. Now if only I could auto-plant the potatoes to set it up for another run.

That's pretty cool, and I may have to try it out myself sometime. I love hoppers so much.

This is the current village I'm working on expanding taken from my rooftop. Note the empty corral in the foreground waiting for the horses in the next release. This village is unusually large (although it doesn't really show in the screencap) and has two libraries. We're assuming that there was a glitch that tried to spawn two villages in one chunk.

At least one. I'd have to check to see if there's a second. The libraries stuck in my mind because one of the kids on the server (private server with a friend and his kid's friends) cleaned out one of them before I could get to the books.

I love that the horses make noises now. They're just so adorable!
