I was wondering....all of us who ship hatching eggs what is your prefered method...

Flat Rate

or

Standard Priority

I have been using flat-rate and like it....but you are very limited in the size of boxes you use. Are the boxes free for Standard Priority too?
And much harder is determing the shipping cost?

All priority supplies are free as long as you are actually using them to ship priority supplies.

Honestly, with eggs, it's way cheaper to ship regular priority than flat rate. I paid like $5 extra the other day b/c I used the flat rate box instead of the regular priority box. Grrr!

How hard is it though to figure out the cost?? Can you do it at home?

Sure, if you have a scale, you can just weigh it and go to usps.com and there's an option to figure out the shipping cost.
