Pepper Water?

Has anyone ever heard of the remedy of mixing black pepper with warm water and giving it to a chicken via syringe when they are sick in order to shock the system back into working and pick them up?

No. Certain things aren't good for chicken's tummies and I'd suspect pepper isn't good either.

I haven't done it and didn't intend to so no worries folks

I had heard it as a passed down remedy but I'm not about to even try that. Blech. Thanks for the opinions though!
