Perches/roosts for Bantams

which would be better 2x2 square or 1'' round roosts for bantam cochins?

2x2 would be better, round narrow poles are not very good for chickens feet.

I'm not 100% sure but i think cochins may prefer a 2x4 over a 2x2.

Just make sure you sand off the edges off the 2x2's first.
