I was walking by the vitamin section at TSC and saw a permethrin aerosol can for barns and coops.
That can’t be safe for their lungs can it?
They also say for hotel use???? ??? ??? Really?! Haha
What is y’all doing experience and knowledge?

Permethrin often sprayed in liquid form....tho not with an aerosol, usually a pump sprayer.
It's not sprayed in the air when the birds are around.
Hotels......all kinds of pests to kill there....bedbugs, cockroaches, etc.

I have a can of the aerosol, though the one I have was marked for home use (honestly don't think it's any different, just the instructions printed on it). I used it to spray the sofa, hubby's office chair, our outdoor boots... anything that could possibly have mites transferred in from outside, as we were getting chewed up by mites. Then I let those rooms air out well for about 4 hrs.

Don't think I'd use an aerosol around the chickens... I don't want to breathe it in and don't want the chickens to either.
