Ah, my poor momma goat , I dont think she will EVER have those kids!
She is HUGE!
We put her and the other goat in with the buck in January, so she is due any time. She started to get a bag several weeks ago, and a few days ago again, it got bigger again. She must be very close. She is either going to have really large twins or triplets, she is HUGE!
I just want some kids! LOL

Everyone - pray for labor!

Well if she follows the code of honor...they will come when you least expect it, aren't home, in the middle of a storm and around 3 am

Come on out, kiddos!

Late August I will be breeding all 6 of my does in a staggard pattern. I will be right where you are next Feb - April! Good luck with your kiding! Show us the photos when the babies come!

Do your does come into season in August??

It depends on the breed. I read Dairy goats only cycle over winter and end in January. All my goats so far are toggenburg/ boer cross, except for the one togg. The meat breeds, well, Boar at least, cycle year round I think. We are getting three boer nannies free from my boss, and he is breeding them this month to kid in November. They are big with show goats (top notch from Texas every year) and apparently, November is the optimal time to have kids for fair.
I will have to get pictures of her later.

Oh, and no kids yet....

She looks like that lady on the 200 lb tumor show

I sure hope she has at least 2 babies in there! If it's a singleton, then she's in some serious trouble!!
