I will try to keep you updated. Unknown how long she has been sitting on the nest though her eggs feel much light than our other flock eggs. Tried candling but couldn’t really see much than the air sack we think.

Couldn't see much because the chick was so big or because the color of the egg? This is so exciting!!!

It was so amazing to find Penny. She is so calm. Even when moved twice. Didn’t peck or get upset during the moves.

Awww....is this one of your birds, and do you have a rooster?
Candling can be tricky, best done in a very dark room.
Make sure she can get out to poop.

She kicked a few eggs out of the nest this am that weren’t viable. None of the 3 that we marked when we tried to candle yet. One of our flock tried to add to her clutch.
