Persistent double yolkers

One of my Coronation Sussex hens has been laying double yolkers, every day for weeks!!! I know when they start up it occurs occasionally, but usually sorts itself out. To me her eggs are useless, except to eat. Can't hatch them, can't sell them. I know I can't do anything about it, just wanted to vent. I geuss I gotta eat SOME sort of egg anyhow, may as well be Coronation Sussex, eh?

You can feed those eggs back to the chickens. Or maybe it's just the breed, I have a friend with a few Sussex (can't remember what kind), and he complains about double-yolks too.
