Personal websites vs. Forum advice

I love you people. There are so many different perspectives here. New ideas and old ones. Everyone has their favorite (blank) and yet most are ready to hear something different...
I hate personal websites on chicken keeping.
There, I said it. One person, publishing articles and advice on their tried and true methods and how everyone else is wrong... Virtually none give the readers the ability to critique their analysis... There is no back and forth. Forums are like having a conversation with the neighbor at the garden fence, personal websites and blogs are like a person standing behind the podium telling everyone else how they are wrong. Like they are more about developing a fan base to monetize, than about sharing the love of a hobby.
I'm sure you all have a website or two (aside for this forum) that you believe offer good advice...
Are there any that consistantly give BAD advice? In your opinion? Thanks in advance. Yes, I do have an axe to grind. But that's not important.

When I first started out with chicken keeping, I used to reference a lot of personal homestead type blogs. I thought I had learned a bunch and got started with my birds and ended up joining here and read a whole lot more.
It's like a lot of personal blogs are based on only their experience and not anything else. That leaves a lot of room for error.
I don't read other blogs to learn about chicken keeping at this point, so can't name any specifically.

Glad I'm not crazy...If they professed that it was just their experience it would be one thing, but when they try to tell you that they have researched it so exhaustively that you shouldn't even bother to do your own research, and load up their site with articles from various studies, etc... It's just... exhausting.
Just because other people have done studies, does not mean that what they are researching applies to my situation. There are always variables... If chicken's were that fragile no one would be keeping them.
Lately, raised beds/square foot gardening is such a thing that a person isn't even allowed to have a different opinion.
