mallard/call duck mixed ducklings?

the reason I'm asking is, my original idea to move the bigger ducks to the barn has gone out the window, it's not going to work, it's too close to the baby being born to have to deal with moving the ducks, then spending the next few weeks chasing them around and getting them back into the barn, plus the one time they were out, they freaked out at night and wanted back into the pen

SO I'm going to split the pen with poultry mesh to make a "wall", the heavy breed ducks and geese will get the a smaller half just for sleeping, but I plan to let them still freerange during the day, the mallards will get the bigger half to live in, if it works out, they'll get the pond, and I'm going to build them a better "house", the others are getting a big 8x8 house still in the making.

anyways, I'm thinking about putting Jingo and Surrobbi(mallard x calls) in with the mallards and probably one call drake, but I may not, my initial want is for pure mallard and crested mallards,

but if I did decided to do this, say you were buying ducklings from me, would you at all be interested in mallard x calls?

I, personally, would have absolutely no problem at all buying mallard x call hybrids. Well, let me rephrase that- if they were deliberately mixed with a specific goal in mind (like developing a new color), THEN I would have no problem having them in my flock.

That is precisely how new breeds and varieties are developed a lot of times. It is always kind of funny to me that certain hybrids are maligned as mutts and others are lauded as valuable new varieties. I guess the main difference is in how some are developed through deliberate outcrossing with a specific goal in mind. Anyway, in that case- I have no issue with it at all.

It depends on how cute they turned out. I don't want anymore flying breeds of ducks myself, but Jingo sure is a cutie!

In all seriousness though - no, I probably wouldn't be interested. Sorry
