sometimes when changing the nesting boxes ill see little roaches scatter and these bugs that look like flying queen ants. after realizing that there cant be that many queen ants in our coops, i was thinking maybe theyre termites? my coops are all made out of wood and chicken wire and are cute store bought house coops.
i change the nesting about once every 1-2 weeds depending on how much it was used since i have 4 coops and they dont always use allthe nesting boxes to lay.
is it a problem to have roaches? and could these flying queen ant looking bugs be termites and also cause any major issues? and how would i go about getting ride of them without using any harmful chemicals?
I did recently have our large tree above the coops trimmed since it was getting out of hand, so maybe the bugs could have come from that?
advice?
