This is strange. How can they state one price the bill you for more. This place sounds very pecular.

I'd have a discussion with the vet when he gets back. Sounds like a Mickey Mouse crew to me.

Well I called and offered to pick him up today and they said nothing else would be added to my bill and then they said that was just a copy of the bill and I said I paid in full when I left him there and they said they would look into it and call me in the morning. I told them if I knew there would be an extra charge I would have picked him up earlier but they said he needed to stay. I will find out tomorrow what is up and hopefully can bring him home Tuesday if not Monday.

I will keep you posted.

I'm glad he's doing better! Lets hope you get him home. He probably wont remember it (chickens are not too bright) so introduce him back just like you would any new bird - quarenteen etc. just incase more mites are there or some other chicken thing latched on while at the vet.
