What can I do about ants getting into my coop. Do the chickens eat them. I know they aren't fireants.

Chickens eat ants and the only way to prevent them would be to kill every ant in the entire world which is impossible. If you really care set some ant traps either comercial ones or honey in the middle of some duct tape.
