Pet control in Ct

Hi I was curious If anyone was aware of the laws on dogs in Ct. A dog that has been wondering our streets for sometime attacked my dog this morning in our yard and left some significant wounds. Any advise would help.

I would ask A cop or 2. They should be able to tell you state law as well as local law
