My pet Rohan duck was attacked Thursday evening. His neck is messed up but seems fine. Noticed he would be wet in his neck area after drinking. Today discovered there is a whole in the neck area and drinking and eating falls out of the area onto his back. Searched for poultry vets in the area but can't find any. I just need help. Called vets but no luck. Any ideas please help. I am sure it needs stitches in the area with bubbles. Just got to find one on Monday if I can.

If the wound has perforated his esophagus a vet is likely the only thing that can help. In the meanwhile, I'd just try to keep him clean and comfortable. Are you sure that food is coming out or could it just be fluid drainage?
Given that it's been several days since the attack you may have issues with being able to put in stitches - at least in humans, doctors won't attempt to stitch most wounds after 24 hours. That's not to say it isn't possible, just something to be aware of.

the vets would not see him because not a cat or dog.
Poor Rohan

Where are you? What sort of duck is rohan?

There is a rehabber in St Johns County Florida who will take ducks including pekins and muscovy and expertly care for them. Its possible you have someone like her where you live. Or a wild fowl refuge or a duck rescue.

You have to google to find your wildlife rehabbers. If the one you call isnt interested be sure to press them about others who may be sympathetic to your boy. Google wild fowl refuges and see if any are nearby.

There's also a facebook group: Rescue Ducks that members go to extraordinary lengths to help injured ducks. It would take time for you to sign up so please message me your name, phone number, address, email address and I will try and get you help from them

Welcome to BYC! Good luck with your duck. :(

I have a product called VetBond made by 3M, it is similar to crazy glue but made to be used by vets. I haven't had to use it yet [thank the Lord] But it might be something to check about for your duck. I had to order but if your are close or in a large town or city you might be able to find it.
