I've read the OPs other thread and this one.

Can people please remember that this poster is a child, before you weigh in with your judgment and criticism.

There is a lot about the situation that is not under their control.

On the deaths, I wonder if the chicks are getting cold. The gap in the wire for them to access the main coop is small and may mean they don't make their way back to their heat source. Chickens aren't the sharpest pencils in the box.

That won't explain the indoor death, but maybe getting on top of the pasty butt is the key here. Hard with so many chicks, but essential.

Make time. They’re living animals. They need to be a part of your chores. If you have time to make a million posts on here, you have time to take care of the chicks. Takes two seconds to change out food and water and toss some fresh bedding down.
