I told him i would pay for the coop and stuff and help do work around the house, i have been saving my money for a little while for chickens...anyway, i would just get a couple serama hens. How long would they live?

I didn't read the entire post, so I apologize if your question has already been answered, but I also live in Blandon. This is a number for the Township of Maidencreek - (610) 926-4920. Give them a call, you don't have to go there. Whether or not you can keep chickens depends on where you live in town. They will ask for the road you live on and they can tell you from that info if you live in a zone that allows chickens. Good luck!
