So taking pet qualities to enjoy while I wait for some SQ looking call ducks is fine with me. Just wanted to show these two cuties and ask what colors would they be considered?

I will get a better picture of them once I pick them up this is the owners picture of them her flash wasnt working to try and show their true colors but she said that the male really does look purple like that and even more prettier out in the sun!

The one in the back looks like what is called a self black. No guess on the one in front. You might want to check out this website

The pictures from their 2008 national show pretty much show what the state of the art in call ducks is. generally the white and the grey show the best body types because they have been bred longest with all the fancy colors being relatively new developments.

The one in the front looks like a chocolate. I don't know about the one in the back. I have chocolate eggs in my 'bator and I have 2 white call ducks that are just too cute.

maybe its just the photos...but the female looks blue to me...and the drake either blue or black. Is the female brown or gray?...if brown she's chocolate, if gray she's blue.

Wow well that narrows it down for me! The lady that owns her said she was a pretty brown and she knows what blue is because she has blue silkies so I'm pretty sure then that she's a chocolate which is awesome! But we'll see for real when I pick them up on friday

All her other birds are "giant fat ducks" so I assume they are rouens LOL.

lol! I have 3 snowy ducklings as of now...they are 2 weeks old (one is a little older...but not by much). I would loooove to find magpies...lol I'm actually really mostly searching for east indies right now though...I'd love a pair...they're so cute
