Pet Turkey Questions

A few questions for the turkey guru's around here...

I'll be going to a poultry show next week. I was thinking of adding a turkey to my flock. Would a turkey be lonely if he/she had chicken friends, or do they really need a turkey friend? Anyone have a turkey as a pet? Will they let you mess with them like a chicken? Are toms aggressive like a rooster? (Towards humans and lady birds) How often do they puff up? Are their eggs any good?

you can have just one turkey.

toms are just like roosters some good , some bad.. you just have take your chances..

My royal palms just cannot help themselves, they are always puffing up.. show offs.......

How well do turkeys a chickens get along?

I have a tom with my chickens and ducks and everyone gets along just fine. He was raised by someone else that had chickens and ducks, I got him at a year old. Because he was raised with others, might be why mine doesn't bother anyone. He's just a big ole sweety and keeps away predators.

We raise our turkeys and chickens together. They get along fine. Turkeys are flock animals and do better with other turkeys.
