Petfinder.com ?

Well Ive been looking for a drake and I have become slightly impatient. So I thought - why not try a rescue? Has anyone had any luck with Petfinder.com? It has alot of ducks but I cant find anything that refers to if they ship or if they are pick up only. I might be over looking it though. But has anyone ever tried petfinder?

Petfinder is a place for county animal shelters, human societies, and animal rescues to post. From my knowledge, they don't ship. It may be possible to have an animal transported for a fee, but most are pick up only.

I found my dogs on Petfinder but I haven't tried them for poultry. I think it just depends on the individual rescue organization that has posted the animal you want. When you click on most of them, it gives you a link to the website and contact information of the place where they are...you might try contacting them if you see one you like and ask about their shipping policy.

i love that site! You have to pick them up at the shelter they are located at. I saw some old ladies on there but they were to far~
