Hello
My name is Súsannah. I lived in Cambridgeshire, UK with my 8 muscovy ducks (Jemima, Dexter, Peanut, Pepper, Pickle, Butter, Bean and Sprout), 2 dogs (Angus and Harvey) and 4 cats (George, Digby, Speckle and Smartie - until 12 days ago, Noodles, who very sadly went to Puddytat Heaven after nearly 19 years - totally devastated).

I have kept muscovys for about 3 years, prior to that I kept chickens. Last year, my mother duck Jemima, had 3 chicks (Button, Bean and Sprout). I believe this is her third brood in as many years. I have 4 ducks from her second brood. One of which is Dexter or "big boy" as I affectionately call him. He is the father to my young ducks.

My ducks give me so much pleasure, I let them roam my garden (my lawn has taken quite a battering, but my garden is a big playground for all my furry and feathered babies).

My dogs get chased by the ducks and cats, however you can see clearly they like teasing each other. George plays hide and seek and jumps out on the other animals as well as myself :)

Life for my furry and feathered babies is full of love and play. I would do anything for them.

Hello Canada - it is, never a dull moment. Would love to have a couple of Pigmy Goats, perhaps this year :)
I love your picture, beautiful.
Why thank you! That would be Blondie the bantam cochin x hamburg, a true lap chicken. :D
I would strongly recommend everyone own a goat at least once in their lives! They have such fantastic personalities and like ducks and chickens, the larger part of the population don't recognize how amazing they can be until they've spent some time truly getting to know them. I had a pygmy fainting goat named Jack for years!
