Hi there!
Your mix sounds like mine, 5 hens, rooster, 2 ducks, a dog, two buns and 4 kitties. They do all get along very well, humans should be as well behaved! 😊

Any day now, my two hens will be mom's.. About 20 in both nests including 4 ducks.

You've had more than one duck brood through the years.. I had planned on not having any more since there's only one male and any offspring inner breeding well I don't see good things happening there. I guess in the wild they find other flocks?. I feel bad though since my female is such a sweet love and is missing out on being mom to the 4 in the nest since the hen has been sitting on them.
