how do I tame my silkies. I now have 8 +peeps of cross variety (Plymouth rock and white silkie) My white rooster got killed and am not sure of ancestesry. some have 5 toes with feathery feet.Can hardly wait.. two hens laid in the same nest ten days apart. so second batch are still hatching. first batch hatched over 6 day period. Is that not unusual?

Handle them as much as possible, and feed them bread while calling them so they come when you call.
