Once in a while, a bird of mine has laid an egg quite a bit smaller than average. I've seen a few dimunitive eggs, and pics of a few more, and offhand I've wondered if I'd ever find one of those in a nesting box. Well, today was the day, and here it is. This is by far the smallest chicken egg I've ever held in my hand.
