pheasant and a hen

Game birds shouldn't have contact with chickens. Chickens carry many diseases that they themselves can tolerate, but the less domesticated birds such as quail and pheasant cannot fight off. Two species that are completely different cannot create a hybrid.
 
Yes, they can but my question to you is why you want to breed two different galliformes to produce an oddball? Pheasants of pure blood are becoming rare enough without increasing the rate of decline.

Ok, phewww...also, more than likely the offspring will be sterile but there's always that "freak" of nature that might be fertile.
There's several threads on the subject here, as well as pics of someone that had actually hatched some crosses. Do a search and you'll find the threads.
