Hey guys, I seem to have a problem
I hatch pheasants and I have a chick that was fine when it hatched, but then a day or two after, I found it with its legs behind its body, laying on its stomach. when I stand it up, it seems to not be able to balance and trips over its feet. the bedding in the brooder is a layer of straw on rough grippy wood, so it cant be a footing issue, can it? I separated the chick so it would not be trampled, and have been attempting to hand feed/water it. I also found another one today, that was also fine, but now isn't even attempting to get up, although its legs look fine, I don't think this one has the same problem, but I don't know. any ideas?
