Pheasant/Chicken Hybrid?!

Hello,
Someone local is selling what they claim to be a cross of a buff bantam and pheasant. Just thought I'd ask to see what other's thoughts are. Also wondering if this cross can reproduce.

They may be hybrids, but don't quite look like the pheasant/chicken crosses that I have seen pictures of. Such crosses are sterile.

Look a lot more like black tailed buff Japanese. (But the type is all wrong? It can’t be OE or Nankin because of the yellow legs.)
Pheasant crosses are sterile.

Thank you so much for your responses. I thought I heard somewhere that they were not sterile...maybe I’m wrong??

I've seen several Pheasant/Chicken hybrids. Those don't look quite right to me. The hybrids are sterile but females can lay eggs.
