Today is hatch day for my pheasants and I had to pip and die in the shell. Got a third that pipped and then didnt do anything so i helped crack a bit and now waiting on him to do the rest. Did a eggtopsy on the two dead and seemed dry. I dont have anyway to monitor humidity is there anything I can do and quick to help the others make it out ok? Please hurry.

Hi, Most pet stores carry humidity monitors. They aren't expensive. Meanwhile I would add a little (maybe 1/4 cup) water to the center of the pan of your incubator. I find the LG's need a whole lot of monitoring (if that is what you have) and lose humidity quickly.

Thanks and I did add a cup of water to it and misted them a bit. Do you think it is to late to soften up the shells for them to get out and I will have to help them or are they gna pull thru? P.S. I have a hovabator. Thanks again

you need much more water for the incubator
so I would use some sponges in the water to help evaporation and even in your home add a humidifier beside the incubator
or they all will die
