Pheasant Collections

New member here, nice alaround site for information.
Not many that I have seen, considering I just got internet.
Been to many zoos, over the years and surprized that many don't have a wide variety of pheasants,
meaning the Rarer Species. Have heard there are a few private breeders in the US that
have nice collections. Does anybody know of these breeders? PLan on doing more traveling this fall
and maybe visit these breeders. Thanks, Alien C.

Many breeders have policies that actually don't allow visitors at their avaries any longer due to the spread of disease etc. I know we were very open with visitors, but have since changed our thought process after stern recommendations by the State "Vet inspector". It is so easy to contaminate your healthy flock. Many of us are indeed in this to help save these birds.
