I do not usually handle my DD's 4-H pheasants. One got loose about 36 hours ago. Turned up in my neighbor's flower bed. When I went to retrieve it, I noticed that its crop is really box shaped, almost as if it has a Leggo directly under the skin. It this abnormal or to be expected in a bird that has not had its regular feed for a day & a half?
