Pheasant Egg Viabilty

You know I always thought they took 25 days.I set them to hatch at day 25 and as soon as they hatch I don't really pay attention.I stagger my eggs to hatch at the same time and it never seems to work.Maybe that's why.

All the Ruff pheasant eggs I have ever incubateded, pipped on day 21 and hatched day 22. Temp 100°F humidity 43% during incubation.
Never have done a float test, either!

Yeah, I have found that their kinda like quail, they almost always pip at the same time and hatch within minutes to an hour from eachother. At least that has always been my experince. As you know temperature is the determining factor on early or a late hatch.
