pheasant, peafowl, and duck wing clipping??

I found this on byc, https://www.backyardchickens.com/LC-wingclipping.html could this work for other fowl as well? Well what would really be the point of clipping pheasant wings?

As far as pheasants, the males of aggressive species such as Coppers & some Lophura could be clipped to keep them from chasing the hens (or keepers) around.
