Pheasant run advice

Top of pheasant run
I am currently building additional pheasant runs and need ideas for the top. I used 1x1 14 guage wire mesh for the sides but the expense is killing me. my other runs i used the wire mesh but i do not want to use it again unless necessary(cost). this run is 50' x 24', has anyone used plastic netting and what size and strength. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I have to keep out weasels, raccoons fox hawks etc

I've used plastic netting I got online. It was 2" netting. But you need a hot wire with it too to keep out predators.
