Pheasant won’t stand

Hi there
I’ve just picked up a pheasant from the road side,
Injury wise from looking at him,he seems fine,no blood or marks,his tail feathers are missing tho,both his legs seem to working ok but he just lays partly on his side and doesn’t move,any ideas ? Thank you

Is he still alive? I would guess that he was hit by a car and has pelvic and internal injuries. I would keep him in a warm, quiet, darkened area as he may be in shock, but the prognosis is not good.
