I'm getting pheasant chicks and I all ready have 4 chicken hens therefore, will the chickens treat them like they are they're own chicks

There are several reasons why you should not put the pheasant chicks with your hens. How old are your pheasant chicks ?. If they are not in a pen where they can't escape they will run or fly away. Unless your hens are sitting on eggs and think they have hatched the pheasants, they probably will not accept them and may kill them. Most important of all, pheasants should not have any contact with domestic poultry. Chickens carry several diseases that they are immune to but can be passed on to pheasants and be fatal. It is much better if you fix yourself some type of brooder, a large cardboard or plastic box will work, and raise them yourself, away from the chickens. There are dozens of folks on this site that will be more than happy to answer any questions you have about raising them and get you off to a good start with your pheasants. Raising pheasants and raising chickens are 2 different matters. Pheasant chicks can not even be fed some of the feed meant for baby chicks. They are not hard to raise but they do require a little knowledge about them first.
