Can peafowls and pheasants be housed together? I am asking because I am part of an ag class and we raise pheasants and our teacher said if we can put peafowl with the pheasants and I can find fertile eggs or adults we can get some.

I only raise peafowl, but generally it seems that many people have successfully kept peafowl in with other pheasants. They do well with goldens from what I have heard. You would just want to watch for any agression.

Yes! I don't have appropriate housing/runs at home and I'm the poultry lady in ag class. So if I can get peafowl for school changes are that I will end sole provider. I can't wait! Next step: find a person to get peachicks or adult peafowl from. Teacher might have a on that. Thank you for everything.

If you let us know where you are, we might be able to point you in the direction of local peapeople!
Or, take a look at your local craigslist; peas often seem to show up there.
Good luck!

Hopefully we have someone in your neck of the woods?
However, hatching eggs are unlikely at this time of the year. Most of the egg laying has stopped by now.

I see that Trefoil is in Michigan, you might send them a PM and see if they have any eggs/chicks available?

Kedreeva is in Michigan, she might be able to point you in the right direction:
